Rockin' With Uncle Randy...

uncle-randy.gifSQUARE LAKE LONG COURSE – The 15th edition of this scenic and challenging half IMish was won for the 3rd time by Dan Arlandson, who had the fastest swim of the morning and raced alone the rest of the way. His final time was 4:15:17, and his margin of victory over Wisconsin master Mike Johnson was 14:40. Wade Cruser (4:37:25) rounded out the Top 3.

The women’s winner was Erin Hyndman-Farrens, who totally rocked. Also victorious here in 2013, Erin’s 4:46:34 last Sunday landed her in 5th place overall. Her time was was the 2nd fastest women’s clocking here in the last decade. Only Diane Hankee (4:44:53 in 2012) has gone faster during that stretch.

Wisconsin’s Lisa Campbell placed 2nd (4:53:04), and Nadine Wetzel-Curtis (5:30:09) took third.

This year’s event had 93 finishers. RESULTS
