One Sunday morning in 2001 before a training ride, a hung-over housemate of Greg Worm (programmer and Dork Rocket founding father) was sick of hearing Greg clicking around the kitchen with his bike shoes and said the immortal words

schwinnwasn't fast, light or pretty by any means. My last ride on the mighty Schwinn was the 2003 Tri-America dork bikeOlympic distance race in Oakdale, MN where I was so incredibly uncomfortable that I decided I would start looking for a new or used tri-bike.
