Going Off Course - Triathlete / ultra-runner Scott Penticoff has two Chinese symbols tattooed on his upper back. One means "Father." The other means "Friend." Being a good father and true friend are what Scott strives to be every day of his life. If you know this special guy, you know that he has world class credentials in both areas.

It's unlikely that you'll ever meet a better man than Scott Penticoff....

His life is rich and full. He is a lover of many things. In addition to his family, his many friends, and tattoos, he also adores cats and dogs, movies, Guinness, Seinfeld reruns, his mom's chicken and dumplings, straw hats, warm places...and Heinz Ketchup.

Where were you born: Born in Robbinsdale MN, but grew up in the Burnsville/Eagan area throughout my school years, it was so long ago we were the Burnsville Braves back then.

Education: BS Nutrition/Dietetics

Where: Immaculata College in Philadelphia area. It is an all girl Catholic school who offered the degree I wanted. I probably hands down had the lamest college experience.
