Saturday's race is one of those qualifying events. The Top six finishers in each AG will receive automatic invitations to represent Team USA at the 2013 ITU Duathlon World Championships in Ottawa, Ontario on August 10-11. A roll-down system will be in place, thus it's possible to finish as low as 20th in your AG and still earn a slot, as long as at least 14 of those ahead of you refuse theirs.

Also, have you ever been to Ottawa? It has a distinctively European vibe, with cool, Gothic-y architecture and lots of the people there speak French. According to Wikipedia, Ottawa is the 3rd cleanest city in Canada. Check it out online, it's really a clean and beautiful place.
