October 15 is Opening Day for Apple Valley's new Blue Water Aquatic Center. In addition to hosting Rip Tide Swim Team and numerous youth and community swim groups, the facility will be offering Masters Swim practices beginning on the 16th.
Masters practice is offered Monday through Thursday 6 AM to 7:30 AM and Saturdays from 7:30 AM to 10 AM, for $25 per month. The program includes guided instruction, custom training plans and stroke technique feedback....
The new 8 lane, 25 yard pool is equipped with underwater speakers, camera systems and web casting, as well as a whole bunch of water [see in-progress photo below]. Keep track of the project on Facebook.
