Trinona's Olympic race is one of the most challenging and competitive tris in Minnesota. It's time to share some data. Here are the overall and non-open-class race records:goast

OVERALL PRO M - David Thompson - 1:52:45 (2011)

OVERALL AMATEUR M - Matthew Payne - 1:57:44 (2011)

OVERALL AMATEUR F - Ruth Brennan Morrey - 2:14:35 (2012)

00-19 - Luke Gruhlke - 2:20:34 (2010)

40-44 - Chap Achen - 2:11:07 (2012) & Sarah Mercer - 2:20:45 (2010)

45-49 - Andy Clark - 2:13:52 (2009) & Heidi Keller-Miler - 2:17:46 (2011)

50-54 - Charlie Roach - 2:16:34 (2011) & Dot Martin (VT) - 2:35:12

55-59 - Greg Taylor - 2:14:54 (2011) & Debbie Christenson - 3:13:56 (2010)(photo R with the family goats)

60-64 - Mike Colaizy - 2:32:48 (2011) & Carole Madland - 3:44:15 (2010)

65-69 - Richard Nehring (IA) - 3:05:05 (2009)

70-74 - Richard Nehring (IA) - 3:08:54 (2010)

A glance at the start list tells us that several of the above records are, weather permitting, in serious jeopardy. DKT, Dan Hedgecock and Devon Palmer (and perhaps a few imports) will take a run at the pro mark. Cathy Yndestad and Claire Bootsma will lead the assault against the women's amateur mark. Alex Hooke, Dan Arlandson and few others will do likewise against the guy's amateur CR.

amyNow it's time to look at the Trinona Sprint (.3-1m-5K) records, and not just because W. Harvey Skees will verbally ream us if we don't.

OVERALL AMATEUR - Brian Sames - 54:02 (2012) & Diana Koepp - 1:02:04 (2012)

0019 - Nickolas Perdoe (WI) - 59:10 (2011) & Lindsey Fratzke - 1:14:56 (2012)

40-44 - Mark Dillard - 57:05 (2010)
