Do you have any idea how much good work Team In Training is doing---right here in Minnesota? We didn't. So we were happily surprised and wanted to share some information with you.

For instance, last year alone the Leukemia & Lymphome Society awarded $2.9 million for five separate research grants at Mayo Clinic and University of Minnesota. Yurting in the U.P...

InsideYurt.gifBy Dan Hedgecock (danhedgecock.com - 2/15)

Let me start off by saying that the people who populated the northern inland regions of the world are tough as a box of nails. I had a very concrete realization of this fact after Claire and I’s winter yurt adventure in the Porcupine Mountains last weekend. What about the track or road athletes who actually run races against fast athletes? Nick Symmonds and Matt Centrowitz both got silver medals at Track Worlds in 2013. Those are pretty good accomplishments. As for Hines Ward, hasn’t he gotten enough attention and...

With 2014 underway, many of us have already made New Year’s resolutions, written on a sheet of paper or tucked away in our minds, in hopes that we can become a better version of ourselves this year. If you find that you’re setting the same goals year after year, here are some tips to help break the cycle and turn your resolutions into reality.
