Team Minnesota - Women - Six Committee members ranked their choices for Minnesota's Top 15 most successful male and female multisporters in 2011. In the end, NONE of those voters' selections matched the ultimate Top 10 rankings. We think that's cool. Democracy in action....

Here's the women's team with individual highlights and a cursory explanation of how each athlete achieved their ranking.

1. CLAIRE BOOTSMA - (7 wins, 5 course records. 6th overall at USAT AG Nationals) 2011 Triathlete of the Year, Boots was the clear choice, receiving six first place votes. Claire has the potential to be the next USAT AOY. And after that? A successful pro career, if that's what she wants.
