Who are winningest athletes on the Minnesota tri/du scene this season? Our research reveals that ten boys and girls have won at least three races apiece, and another 11 have recorded at least two victories. We've listed the Top 10 and highlighted what we believe to be their biggest wins of the season thus far.

Award winning photographer Paul Phillips (photo L) suffered 3 broken ribs, multiple contusions to his head, elbows and wrists, and as yet undetermined injuries to his neck and head when he was hit by a car before the start of the USA Triathlon Age Group Nationals in Burlington, Vermont Saturday.
Phillips was walking in a crosswalk to the motorcycle staging area 30 minutes prior to the 7:30 AM start when a white SUV that had been stopped for the crosswalk reportedly suddenly accelerated and knocked Phillips and his cameras to the pavement.
Phillips was immediately tended to by a passing physician, laid on a board and taken by ambulance to Fletcher Allen Medical Center where doctors took a CAT scan, cleaned his wounds and gave him pain medication.
After returning to his home in Minneapolis Sunday, Phillips regular physician will conduct more tests to see if there was damage to his neck, heart chamber or head....

ED. This very cool story about the St. Cloud triathletes who are training for next weekend's Ironman Louisville first appeared in something called "The Bodette Fitness Column" in the St. Cloud Times. "Bodette" must be a guy. Or maybe a girl. The photos were taken by Dave Schwartz.
Competing in Ironman races is growing more popular among St. Cloud area athletes.
More than 13 members of the Du Tri St. Cloud club are scheduled to compete in the Ford Ironman Louisville Aug. 28 in Kentucky. Five more are scheduled to compete in the Ford Ironman Wisconsin Sept. 11 in Wisconsin. And other members are competing in upcoming Ironman events in Florida and Canada.
Ironman is a 2.4-mile swim, 112-mile bike and 26.2-mile run....

While you might not care to hear about lawyers wearing dress suits, but how about lawyers wearing (and critiquing) two of the best triathlon race suits on the market. Harvey Skees (a/k/a Minnesota DUI Guy) and I recently purchased two of the best race suits on the market.
