Selflessness & Great Hair...

andy(Photo -Selfless, Andy Clark leaps valiantly from a dock to intercept an errant Iraqi scud missile that was intended to decimate a Syrian target, yet somehow ended up in Minnesota. Andy was willing to sacrifice himself for his family and a beach full of strangers. Fortunately, the scud, like most scuds, did not detonate, thus Andy can continue to race and coach and do family stuff.)

Profile-ette - We've been a fan of Northfield's Andy Clark for a long time. A handsome and ripped Minnesota multisport pioneer with great competitive creds, he is also a highly decorated collegiate swim coach.

jessicaUnheralded, but not Undeserving File - Minnesota's many national and world level multisport athletes command a large portion of MTN's cyber ink. Cathy and Patrick and Kevin and Kort and Brian and Jenny et al have been busy setting performance standards and have deservedly reaped the benefits, whether in material form or in terms of recognition.

There are so many other fine multisport athletes in our state who possess what we can call "regional" or "local" class talent. Some of these folks are the national classers of tomorrow. And simply put, these people rarely get the props they deserve. Addressing this, MTN will periodically post features from our "Unheralded, but not Undeserving File"....
