Minnesota Multisport Awards - Brian Bich (2008) and Tony Schiller (2002) are former US Masters of the Year and each have been nominated for that award on several occasions. Greg Taylor was nominated for that prize in 2009 and Rhett Bonner was given serious consideration as well. These are the guys who set the 40+ bar in Minnesota. There are many, many talented male masters in our state, but only those whose 2010 resumes approximate, match or exceed the Bichian-Schillerian-Taylorian-Bonnerian standards will receive MOY nominations.
Did Brian, Tony, Greg and Rhett race as well this year as they have in season's past? And are they shoo-ins for nominations?
Maybe. Maybe not...

2010 Minnesota Multisport Awards - It's a goshdarn shame. Only four women can be nominated for Master of the Year.
There are more than thirty 40-54 girls who have enjoyed successful 2010 multisport seasons. Whittling that group down to four finalists will not be an easy task for the MMA Selection Committee. The quadrumvirate that survives the cut will have to have done much more than simply win some divisional titles. They will have won races outright or made...

2010 Minnesota Multisport Awards - In the coming days, the MMA Selection Committee will be reviewing the 2010 competitive resumes of at least 12 Grand Masters (Men 60+, Women 55+). This impressive list will include past winners, "usual suspects," i.e. past nominees, and, best of all, Newcomers, i.e. first-time nominees...
